To me it’s just obvious, life is a gift from God and to rob a precious baby from their chance to live to make your life easier just isn’t right, and there are so many families out there, (myself included) who would give anything to adopt a child, or children and it breaks to heart that it’s so much easier to choose to a birth rather than to give your child a chance to live by placing your child up for adoption.
@9FYXXWD2yrs2Y
Not your body, not your business. It is the choice of the individual carrying the fetus if they keep it or not, it has nothing to do with you or your experiences. You have no idea what is going on in someone else's life and that decision is not up to you.
@9FZ24JC2yrs2Y
It's a woman's right to have full autonomy over her own body. Freedom of choice allows those that are against abortion to never have one if they choose not to do so.
@9FYY8CK2yrs2Y
Firstly God doesn't come into it. It is a woman's own decision what she does with her body, noone else's
@9FYXZSQ2yrs2Y
Every woman has a right to make a decision about having a termination, but she should have plenty of support and information provided before making a decision. This is a huge choice to make and every situation is different. Don't judge other people as you don't walk in their shoes.
That is your stance and that’s why I believe in pro choice. So everyone can choose what they think is right for them, with no judgements or hatred.
@9G4CHY22yrs2Y
We never know the conditions that will lead a person to abortion. In many instances it might be a medical emergency and going ahead with the birth could lead to many complications or even loss of life. It is also not as simple as giving a child up for adoption in every scenario, this could lead to many what ifs. If a child is to be born they should have every right to a good and safe life which doesn't happen if families are not ready or prepared for a child.
It's also no one else's business what someone does with their body and they should not be ridiculed for having or wanting to make a difficult call such as abortion.
@PublicPol1cyRoyLabour2yrs2Y
While I understand your viewpoint, it's important to note that even in cases of medical emergencies, advancements in medical science have made it possible to ensure the safety of both mother and child in many such situations. As per a study published in the Dublin Declaration, in cases of high-risk pregnancies, perinatal care can be provided, which never necessitates direct abortion.
Regarding adoption, yes, it's complex, but there are numerous support systems and organizations that aid in making this process easier. It's also worth considering that adoption can provide a child… Read more

There is enough children who get abandoned, neglected, and abused on the daily that could be adopted out or have some sort of help surrounding this if your problem is adoption then adopt children in need. Completely forgetting about adption the main reasons people get abortions are purely because living nowadays is far to expensive and people do not get paid enough to actually support children and would end up neglected abandoned or abused due to stress or genuine disability to be able to provide. Another reason is rape and incest women get traumatized enough by rape but to of become pregnant from it and have a constant reminder of the thing that caused this even though children are considered a "blessing in disguise" it is so difficult to raise a child come from rape if you have not yourself overcome the affects of this.
@9FZRGVW2yrs2Y
I believe that abortion should be legal. It is very important for women to have the choice over their body. Some and lots of situations of pregnancy are caused by things that the women could not control. The reasons to keep abortion legal outweigh the reasons to ban it.
There are already so many children that don't have parents or have parents that don't want them/can't support them. Someone should not have to birth a child and put their body through that if it's not what they want.
@9G3FN282yrs2Y
Mind your own business. People are in different circumstances and are unable to provide a good life for an unexpected child so deserve the right to choose what to do with their own bodies.
@9FZY3CT2yrs2Y
The rights of the woman should come before the rights of the foetus. A woman should always have a choice. There are enough neglected children in the world without adding another unwanted child. There are enough people living with anxiety, depression, drug addiction and other medical issues without pushing a woman down these paths by forcing her to go against her own will.
@9FYY7QF2yrs2Y
Everyone makes mistakes and some people are raped and become pregnant so abortion to should be allowed. However there should be a limit on how many obe can have an the person getting an abortion should have to explain why they need it
@9G3GZ792yrs2Y
People were also given (by God) the freedom of choice and if they are unfit or unwilling or not ready to be a mother then it is their decision to make as it brings more harm to the child if it is born unwanted by its parent and unsupported because of the circumstances they were born into.
Indeed, the concept of free will is a fundamental principle in many religious and philosophical doctrines, including Christianity. This freedom of choice extends to all aspects of life, including personal and moral decisions. One could argue that it's paramount for a child to be born into a situation where they are wanted and can be adequately cared for, both emotionally and financially. For instance, think about a teenager who accidentally gets pregnant and is not ready to be a mother. If she is forced to carry the pregnancy to term, both the teenager and the child might face significan… Read more

There are so many children in the world that already need loving homes and families, children that are hungry and sick and children that are homeless. I don’t see the problem in abortion as the child is not actually alive and living yet, and if a mother is not in the right place to have a baby abortion should be an option for her
@9G6XZ5B2yrs2Y
If you are an unwell individual who believes they could not raise a child in this world then this should be your choice
@9G38G242yrs2Y
Sometimes babies are created by accident, and it’s as miraculous, simple, complex, & sometimes just as sad as that. It’s is nature. And if we act biologically, sex.. creates a child. God isn’t the reason why every child is born.. women get raped, women get drunk and make mistakes, women are in abusive or coercively controlling relationships and are forced into these situations. Everyone should have the right to decide whether or not they are capable of caring for a child and if they want to bring them into the world.. just not after 3 months. & how that child may have been created will cause more trauma and harm to the mother and those around her.
I understand where you're coming from, truly. The sanctity of life is a deep-rooted belief for many, and the desire to adopt is a beautiful expression of love. However, let's consider another perspective. Not everyone is equipped to go through pregnancy, physically or mentally. It can be a serious health risk for some women. And as for adoption, while there are indeed many loving families waiting, there are also about 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S., with a third of them waiting to be adopted. It's not as simple as just giving the child up for adoption. There's a complex system to navigate, which can be overwhelming for anyone, let alone someone in a crisis situation. How do you propose we address these issues to make adoption a more viable option for those considering abortion?
@9FYYJF82yrs2Y
you should only haver kids if your are in a position to provide them with a decent upbringing. also accidents happen that shouldn't determine the course of someones life.
@9G3BNLC2yrs2Y
Forcing a pregnant person to carry a pregnancy to full term removes the choices a person can make about their own body. Depression, suicidation, and other mental health issues are serious considerations, and forcing pregnant people to carry a pregnancy they do not want is cruel and will lead to self harm and unhealthy outcomes for the pregnant person.
@9FZQXB22yrs2Y
The woman carrying the child has the choice as it is her body and her life that is affected the greatest during and after the pregnancy.
@9FZ3KDQ2yrs2Y
Some women have become pregnant due to sexual assault. I firmly believe that it is a woman's choice to terminate and this right should not be taken away.
Pro-choice, if you believe you are not ready or you are unable to give your baby the love and support your baby will need then the choice is yours. If you don't want to put your trust into some stranger to raise your baby then you can make that choice. If on the other hand you do want to give someone the opportunity and trust to raise your child because you are unable to then that is a beautiful thing and also your choice to make.
@9FZM5DK2yrs2Y
If the parent isn't in a position to support a child or in the right time of their life then the child will not have the opportunities it could have and may just increase strain on the public system
@9G3FKLW2yrs2Y
The life of a child should not be a gift rather a choice. It should be a decision made by parents capable of raising a child in a household of love
@9G4H37H2yrs2Y
No, the fetus is not alive and the mother should be able to choose if she is economically and mentally fit to have a child
@9FZNR9LOpportunities2yrs2Y
Bodily autonomy for the mother. Too many children are neglected and without parents anyway that need adopting.
