Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
医保 › 普遍的牙科保健
9>9 Personal answerYes but means test it and subsidize on a sliding scale for working or wealthy retired adults. |
国内政策 › 政府监视
9>9 Personal answerYes but only if they are a person of interest for terror or criminal reasons, and a legal search warrant has been obtained. General, anonymized screening for problem words like "bomb" should be allowed, e.g. monitored by AI, and it it comes up x no. of times, maybe with other red flags a human can be flagged to assess and then alert the police (if threat seems imminent) or set the search warrant request in train. |
国内政策 › 互联网监管
9>9 Personal answerDefinitely to look for dark web activity with real victims such as child or trafficked victim porn, drug and arms dealing, cyber warfare, disinformation troll farms etc. |
社会 › Gender Transition
9>9 Personal answerAbsolutely not under age 16, and even then, nothing irreversible. Many gender dysphoric people "grow into" their gender assigned at birth and even hormone therapy can really damage an individual's ability to reproduce or have a healthy, satisfying sex life, let alone if they have surgery.Under 20 yo are too young to have thought about whether or not they really want children later on. Although puberty blockers, with parental permission might help a child take time to adjust, it can also work like a self fulfilling prophecy: if they don't physically develop alongside their peers to manifest the characteristics of their biological gender, it will be harder for them to relate to that gender, prolonging and cementing the dysphoria. In many cases, people who think they are trans will simply grow up to be gay, lesbian or bisexual individuals who are somewhat masculine or feminine compared to the average person of their biological sex. But they could do lasting damage to their ability to enjoy sex or reproduce later in life, if they do something drastic and irreversible to themselves while they are still developing emotionally, mentally, socially and physically. |
环境 › 环境规制
9>9 Personal answerThey should incentivise alternative energy and stop slamming farmers who are doing all the right things and are still getting so hammered they are selling beautiful, arable land to overseas carbon credit investors who plant the cheapest, least useful pines, ruin the land, don't manage or harvest the forest, and leave it to become a carbon emitting, rotting wasteland within 20 years, increasing the likelihood of flood damage in many areas. |
外交政策 › 恐怖分子公民
9>9 Personal answerIf they have dual citizenship and were clearly a member of the terror organisation, revoke the citizenship. Otherwise, the detain, investigate and fair trial option applies. |
Housing › First Home Buyers
9>9 Personal answerNo, ban foreigners from purchasing investment properties instead |
经济 › 福利毒品测试
9>9 Personal answerThis is a tough one. If they have a criminal drug history and are receiving a DPB, this money is to support them and their dependant child/ren. It won't stretch to properly caring for children and a drug habit. If they test positive, that is food, clothing, doctor visits, school trips and bus passes being taken from their child. Probably dangerous randoms having access to their child's home. In such case the children should be removed to a safe environment (parent can still supervised visit) undergo free drug treatment, have the DPB stopped and put on the regular dole until they get cleaned up and stay that way for a medically recommended length of time, before they get their kid and the DPB back, and continue to regularly pass drug tests. A bit different for the dole, superannuation . The person is only harming themselves if they're in drugs, and it's a helluva intrusion to just do to everyone, willy nilly. A drug habit can't be supported by the dole anyway, so they're likely supplementing with dealing, under the table work or growing their own. |
社会 › Hate Speech
9>9 Personal answerGenerally, no. Certainly it should be squelched on social media because the algorithms inflate views that engage people's rage or trolling tendencies. People should still be able to spout their nonsense as long as they don't encourage or advocate violence, don't purport to be a legitimate news site, and don't access media that artificially inflates and "normalises" their views and puts people in their cross hairs in real danger from followers who believe their hate speech. |
教育 › 大学学费
9>9 Personal answer不,但是学费需要根据家庭收入来减少 |
Housing › 外国土地所有权
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
经济 › 资产增值税
9>9 Personal answerYes, but only on investment property |
Housing › Housing Infrastructure
9>9 Personal answerNo, private developers should pay a major portion of the cost |
社会 › Transgender Athletes
9>9 Personal answerOnly if they did not go through puberty as the gender assigned at birth or are competing in something where physical size and strength are less important, e.g. shooting, equestrian which are often mixed sex competitions anyway. Absolutely should not be allowed to compete in a strength related sport such as swimming, running or weight lifting if they have previously competed at a high level (regional or national) as a teenager or older in that same sport under the gender assigned at birth. |
经济 › Retirement Age
9>9 Personal answerYes, except for workers with physically demanding jobs |
经济 › Four-day Workweek
9>9 Personal answerYes, where practicable and employers and employees agree. |
教育 › National Standards
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
国内政策 › Maori Parliament Seats
9>9 Personal answer不 |
医保 › 单一支付者医保
9>9 Personal answerYes, but allow people to use private insurance |
经济 › 全民基本收入
9>9 Personal answerYes, but means tested. It shouldn't be as high as minimum or living wage, or it make some people feel like mugs for working. Alternatively, if the minimum wage can't be raised high enough, it should be offered as a top up to lower wages, but bringing the worker's overall income higher than the UBW, so there's still a financial (as well as a mental health) incentive to work. |
环境 › Animal Testing
9>9 Personal answerYes, but not for cosmetics |
教育 › Te Reo Māori
9>9 Personal answerIt should be compulsory in primary school at a basic level and as a Year 9 language requirement by a language teacher. After that, compulsorily available, but optional. |
教育 › Student Allowance
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
移民 › Muslim Immigrant Ban
9>9 Personal answer不 |
社会 › Teacher and Faculty Diversity Training
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
医保 › COVID Employment Health Pass
9>9 Personal answer不 |
国内政策 › 女子配额
9>9 Personal answerNo, diversity should be encouraged but not forced |
总统大选 › Mental competency testing
9>9 Personal answerYes, and politicians of any age should be required to pass a mental competency test |
医保 › Medical Consensus
9>9 Personal answerNo, but the doctors should be required to disclose that the advice contradicts contemporary scientific consensus |
环境 › 转基因食品
9>9 Personal answerPeople whose farms become contaminated with GM crops should not be required to pay for the "unlicensed" crop. |
罪行 › Private Prisons
9>9 Personal answer不 |
社会 › Employee Diversity Training
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
罪行 › Demilitarize the Police
9>9 Personal answerNo, extreme situations should be handled by higher agencies with specialized training and equipment |
医保 › 安全港
9>9 Personal answer不应该,这会促进药物的使用和减少康复中心的资金 |
社会 › Student Diversity Training
9>9 Personal answerNo, diversity training should be encouraged but not required |
社会 › 育儿假
9>9 Personal answerThe government can't afford to subsidize the richest mothers who probably least need the money. But the "cap" should be raised somewhat, but the maximum time (unless otherwise agreed between the employer and employee) should remain 12 months. |
罪行 › Defunding the Police
9>9 Personal answerNo, increase funding and training for police departments in higher crime rate communities |
环境 › Water Tax
9>9 Personal answerYes, especially if they are shipping water overseas, or irrigating crops that never used to grow in that region, lowering the water table for all the other farmers and water users, freshwater life in the region. Less so if they are a farmer who is using water responsibly. |
经济 › 工会
9>9 Personal answerIn the past they have sometimes hurt the economy, or threatened to if in key export/transport sectors (e.g meat inspectors, waterside workers, oil rig workers, ferries) but I think these days they mostly help, as we are bleeding staff from the underpaid professions like teaching and healthcare. We need to retain these people and attract more to join these professions. |
经济 › 农场补贴
9>9 Personal answerUnfortunately if we subsidize the act of doing so will lock us out of some important markets with strong farmer organisations. |
Housing › Land Supply
9>9 Personal answerI believe they should build up instead of out in central city areas close to transport links, shops and schools, but also free up unproductive land for lower density housing for families with cars who want pets and kids to be able access gardens and yards. Also, super high rise is a earthquake and fire risk, should not go above 4 or 5 storeys in the city centres, 2 storeys in the suburbs. |
环境 › Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
9>9 Personal answerYes, but only if they use renewable energy sources |
移民 › 双重国籍
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
总统大选 › 外国人的投票权
9>9 Personal answer不应该,应当只有合法公民才可投票 |
教育 › Charter Schools
9>9 Personal answerI agree with focusing on improving public schools and teachers wages, but also think we need more publicity funded schools with high teacher ratios for the really troubled kids who are dropping out and committing crimes/sinking into addictions and apathy, or are really disruptive in schools to the point other kids' education is being impacted as well as their own. We need a LOT of these to rescue the disengaged kids who are about to become a huge societal burden if they aren't turned around, and for the rest of the kids and teachers still trying to learn in regular public schools. |
Housing › Homeless Encampments
9>9 Personal answerGenerally I'd say no, and make it a criminal offence. But need to check whether the housing offer was a safe environment. It's understandable that people may fear to live in shared accommodation with violent and mentally unstable housemates. |
国内政策 › TikTok Ban
9>9 Personal answerYes, and we should do more to stop China from collecting data on our citizens |
国内政策 › 任期限制
9>9 Personal answerI agree that elections can be used as term limiters, but I also think 20 years should be the maximum time in Parliament, and that their pensions should be reduced and not increased for service beyond 12 years. |
医保 › World Health Organization
9>9 Personal answerYes, but only relative to the amount that other countries contribute |
国内政策 › Political Advertising on Social Media
9>9 Personal answerGenerally, yes. But people will plug their political stances anyway, so it can't be screened out all together. Provided the standards meet what is acceptable in NZ on free to air TV and billboards, it would probably be more informative and less cesspooly than the alternative of random nutters just putting up their fake facts. Plus, all advertising must stop the same day the street hoardings must come down. |
外交政策 › 军费支出
9>9 Personal answerI understand we are losing personnel because their pay has lagged and their accommodation is substandard. If it takes money to fix that, then so be it. I don't think they have had a big spend on equipment since Helen Clarke. Then a bit on one multi purpose naval vessel and some more planes. We need to be able to defend our territorial waters and marine reserves much better than we are. |
总统大选 › Elected Representatives
9>9 Personal answerYes, but increase their salaries to attract the best politicians |
经济 › Gig worker tax reporting
9>9 Personal answer不 |
环境 › Corporate Subsidies
9>9 Personal answerNo, spend that money on improving infrastructure and the community to attract companies |
经济 › Stock Buybacks
9>9 Personal answer是的 |
