Teenagers are the most prone to misinformation online as we are the generation of technology

Yet, for being the generation with so much knowledge at our fingertips we don't bother to fact check or gather more sources to form an opinion. The first thing that pops up on our FYP is what we believe, we don't bother to find out anything more, no context, we take one look and form a biased, misinformed opinion. While I understand that some teenagers do watch the news and have a fierce opinion in politics and wish for the age to be lowered so they can express their opinions and fight for their rights, there are too many teenagers out there that have no idea what's going on in the world and agree with the first opinion they see.
