"Pro-life" is a misnomer

Most people who claim to be pro-life are in fact only pro-birth. Once the child is born, most of these people are completely uncaring for the plights of the families they have forced into existence, and unwilling to support struggling mothers and children. Women do not seek abortions for fun, they seek them because they are not physically, mentally or financially capable of supporting a child, and banning abortions will only drive more women into dangerous illegal procedures, and more children into difficult and traumatic lives that no one should have to be subjected to. The health and wellbeing of existing people, especially young people, should be more important than the imaginary life of a bundle of cells.
