Also it is not necessarily true to say that a particular vaccine is effective when sometimes it will take a long period of time to find out if this is really the truth or not. Mandating things causes a lot of trouble because people don't like to be forced into things and many have their own views on these things. In the case of covid we know that the vaccine didn't stop people from getting covid or transmitting it yet people who didn't get the vaccine were blamed for transmission while it was the vaccinated who were going into restaurants, nightclubs, etc because they had passes who were more likely to be transmitting it. People who didn't get vaccinated were vilified. In my eye this was morally wrong. People lost their jobs. Then when a very large number of people visited the parliament grouns to protest they were ignored by the politicians and referred to as a river of filfh. Any politician who may have had some sympathy for the protestors and who wanted to actually speak to them was discouraged from doing this by others who said by speaking with them you are showing you are supporting them.
