Many people who choose pro-life believe that no matter how young a fetus is, it should be considered a human being, and therefore has rights. Even when the fetus is nothing but a clump of cells, it has rights. Even when the fetus is not formed in any way, has no bones or limbs, it is considered something that should be protected. Shouldn't we be more worried about the human that is alive and fully developed already? The mother?
Moreover, in some cases the mother has been raped. It was not her choice to create the baby, and so she should be given the choice on whether or not she wants to have the baby.

Aborted babies that are the result of rape only account for a small percentage of abortions. Even in the case of rape, I believe there are multiple options that should be considered before one decides to kill their offspring.
