It may be because they were raped, or because it would be cruel to continue a pregnancy with a child that will never live or require immense medical support. I got pregnant on three different methods of contraception. I did not want children, but got pregnant regardless of contraception. I chose to have all of them, but nonetheless all women should be able to make this choice.
