Couples who cannot have children, or are homosexual should have the ability to adopt if they are willing to create a loving household for the child, instead of killing it.
Over 6,000 children are already in the NZ foster system. Taking away a pregnant mothers choice will increase this. If people want to adopt and raise a child so badly, one of these 6,000 children in NZ fostercare would surely be greatful.
