More inclusion of automated systems stops the discussion and engagement processes that ensure we are participating in ethical and critical decision making. AI has not got human understanding and has seen to have too much or too little empathy in emotional cases. As AI could be considered to make mistakes like humans do it is all the more reason why AI involvement would not typically improve the area.

AI does way more bad than good, if you include the environmental issues, the pollution, water waste and the fraud behind it. AI does more bad than good, and overwhelmingly so.

New Zealand does not need to waste so munch money on defense. We are so remote that it becomes incredibly hard to invade us and we have no one who is hostile towards us.

integrating AI into lethal autonomous weapons systems creates an unacceptable risk of uncontrollable, catastrophic escalation that far outweighs any perceived operational advantage. i love labour party

AI will destroy the world. Like come on people haven't we watched movies. Don't do it it could malfunction and stuff and cause fatalities.

AI is unaccountable. It will remove the possibility of human resistance to oppressive or illegal action, which is of course a major plus for some.

Artificial intelligence is unreliable and unstable; it is not capable of protecting people in military settings and it should not be allowed.

It uses lots of water and energy, makes students lazy and they don't learn, and takes many people's jobs.

We should never allow something without a human subjectivity, context flexibility, conscience and morals to have the power over the safety and lives of humans.

Ai is still an ongoing developmental technology and is not without flaws, Like many important products it should be rightfully tested and improved over time to justify its use as a reliable option

The world outside NZ is far more advanced on the use of AI, are we to be left behind with this technology

According to recent 2025 data, AI-powered cyberattacks can now crack 85.6% of common passwords in under 10 seconds and infiltrate networks in an average of 11 minutes.

Traditional, human-led defenses take days or weeks to identify breaches. Organisations utilising AI-driven defenses contain breaches 108 days sooner on average and save approximately $1.8 million per incident compared to those without.

Waiting for "perfect" testing in this environment is like bringing a shield to a laser fight, the speed of the threat makes human-only defense obsolete.

Absolutely not, A.I has been proven to be wrong on many accounts, Humans are simply a more advanced and accurate system.
