As our population grows, we can continue digging a deeper hole requiring more expenditure on new roads and management, or we could ease congestion by implementing a world class public transport system. It's only going to get more expensive the more we kick it down the road and we're getting left behind by other super cities where public transport plays a major role in their liveability.
