I had to leave our home with 3 small children to avoid escalation and being physically hurt again. It was lucky I had somewhere to go. Ideally he should have been made to leave so the children suffered less disruption to their lives. Four people forever bearing the damage caused through that vs one narcissistic person who laughed at us and remained in control. Weak police force unable to help.
