I think there are other forms of environmental damage that are more concerning like taking to much water out of aquafers, rubbish dumping, chopping down native bush, poor toxic waste management. NZ should also rethink it's strong opposition to nuclear power. Power should be made as cheap and green as possible. Geothermal and Hydro also remain underrated as strong alternatives.
