If police have a limited amount of instant punishments, they will be circumscribed and more people will dare to commit low scale and eventually high scale crimes. Police need to be given authority for higher punishments and consequences to control the mass-outbreaks of crime and the high recruitments of gangs.

Our police are some of the least corrupt in the world. Let's support GOOD POLICING against the alternative, a gang led country.
See how that works out. If the police are abolished, the county will no longer function within a matter of weeks.
Without the police their would be chaos, and if the police didn't have sufficient gear to respond to a large threat it could cause more deaths then necessary.

Yes. There are more and more instances of firearms being used / carried during criminal activities the Police need to be able to respond appropriately to better support those who are impacted by these events.
Why diminish the police when they are protecting you and who know if your still here if the police was demolished.
Policing by consent has its place within the community. However it is not a detering force against serious criminal activity that is organised and designed to cause harm. Militarising the police enables them to combat the orgaisned criminal activity while keeping them and the community safe. It about having the capability to deal with the offending that most people aren’t aware is happening becuase of the work the policing are doing in the background
