Absolutely, cheapest and most efficient energy source at this current time and only produces little waste, renewable energies are the way to go but before we become all renewable, nuclear energy is much more sufficient also we have learnt from catastrophe events in the past, many unintentionally, so with good restrictions and regulations in place this a green light for the better of sustainability and relatively cheaper for New Zealand citizens.
