More visible police force will deter crime or prevent it from escalating into larger crimes - target it where it is needed to fix a problem rather than spreading it to areas it is not needed as much

Police are trained and educated to do the work they have chosen to do. Better, longer training prepares them for the situations they are likely to face. They are often fit, young and well suited to the tasks they are confronted with

Not only police funding but crack down on first time offenders to make a point to not be a **** ing piece of **** . And you wander why the youth of this country run a **** ing muck.

In my home community of Onehunga , Auckland. The crime rate is so high especially burglaries and ram raids. There aren't enough resources and man power to properly carry out their duties even though they would like too. Peoples call, are getting basically disregarded because of lack of resources , people and time.

A lot of the issues that occur with police officers stems from lack of training and not enough screening
