Police should be equipped with more tools, rights and training so they can protect the community and themselves.

Police waste time on a lot of things. However I believe we need to work on development of human beings.

No but increase social and community based systems as top of cliff rather than bottom of cliff approach

No, increase funding for Police and Community Work that targets reduction of behaviours that escalate to crime. Put social services uses I to the school environment, so vulnerable people are able to access them easily

In the fence with this. Some People are intimidated by police. There should be better funding for community and social based programmes

 @9DW9KDVNationalanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes but not all, some of the funding should be redirected as it could reduce crime committed which would reduce the help of police

 @9DSLZTXNationalanswered…3yrs3Y

not redirected because this is important, but maybe a portion of it could be directed towards social and community based programmes and also some more funding from elsewhere

 @9FHNL8MNationalanswered…3yrs3Y

Better training of police to enable better cooperation with community groups.

 @9F7GCTDNationalanswered…3yrs3Y

Investment should be focused on developing prevention and intervention activity whilst maintaining investment in Police

 @9CT3Z3SNationalanswered…3yrs3Y

No, I don't agree with redirecting funding from police, however funding does need to be given to social and community based programs.

Police need more funding, especially in higher crime rate areas. But social and community-based programs are completely underfunded, and this is a massive detriment to the community. Organizations like Youthline, cannot provide the help that people desperately need because organizations such as these are not receiving the appropriate funding in order to successfully do so.
