I have been trained and working in my role for over 20 years and someone starts out on a wage not much less than mine. Yes you need a minimum wage, but stop increasing it. small businesses can't afford it. I work in healthcare.

Minimum wage should be nothing more than an opportunity to provide someone who otherwise wouldn't be working to get them working not a means of living. It also serves as a way for small business to employ labour without making it unaffordable.
Consistently increasing the minimum wage will only increase the living wage as inputs to create products will increase

If you make it a living wage which in some cases it should be, then other prices will go up and therefore is it a living wage then?
