Why would the govt give subsidies to organic farms? This has f-all to do with CO2 emissions, and isn't that useful to the economy. This is BS signalling or ignorant "feel good" sentiment. Farms should be *forced* to stop putting nitrates/runoff into the water - destroyed/closed if they fail to comply. That's it.
