Well the word private implies exactlty that. It's a slippery slope for governmental organisations to then be able to investigate other types of private companies. Some people won't like this, it doesn't sound very free.
As New Zealand citizens are able to use social media, the government should have the right to regulate to some degree the content that is allowed to be accessed by them.
