We need choice for those pupils who can't learn in a standard school setting. I have seen this first hand as a teacher. The statistics on pass rates at charter schools are undeniable.

We need to understand that a traditional education does not work for everyone and therefore we need more options, part of that option is letting local communities and schools who know their region do what they think is best for their kids. Charter schools offer what mainstream does not and thats vareity and difference.
