Te Reo should be taught in all schools however it needs to be by someone who not only can teach the language but understands the mana behind it. A language is just words until you put meaning behind them and a Te Reo teacher should be able to teach the language as well as the understanding of Maori heritage and importance of keeping Te Reo alive.
