We will never be a holistic, contributing society, when people can easily access drugs. Stop the source, educate others

This is a naive viewpoint thinking it can be stopped. It needs to be understood and adapted into society for society to be holistic.

Drug addiction should be a health issue not a criminal justice issue and we are putting too many young people in prison now, ruining their lives and those of their families. Help the addicted, legalise and manage drugs, provide programmes for those who want to beat their addiction, and recognise that the so-called war on drugs has never and will never work.

This doesn’t help the distribution. People still get drugs into the country and will find someone to deal them out

All this does is punish people who are usually not manufacturing or growing. Just people down the line trying to make a quick buck
