Bruh. The choice to allow a couple to adopt a child should be based on the competency of that couple to provide care for said child. Nothing specifically about the gender of an adopted childs parents can inherently harm them. LGBTQ+ people can provide love, feminine and masculine energy, cooked meals, a clean home and knowledge on how to care for your hygiene and appearance, strong role models, life skills and discipline as needed by any child. Often the chance to prove themselves worthy would lead to them being better parents than hetero couples who grow up knowing they have the right to. I can think of dozens of hetero parent units who should not have been parents based on their competency and treatment of said child, even in cases without violent or sexual abuse. But no one questioned their right too.

Again why does it matter. If the couple is fit enough to raise a child in a healthy environment then why does the gender have to mean anything.

Since LGBT people are no different to straight people, they should be held to the same standards as straight people when it comes to being allowed to adopt.

Everyone is equal. No one should have unfair advantage because they feel like it. You either have exclusivity or you have equality. You cannot have both.

adopting of babies should be a right to only heterosexual couples. As this is the natural and God given right to humans who were made male and female.

What's fair is fair. Think of it like this, if straight couples weren't allowed to adopt because they are able to provide their own children because they are Male and Female then how would that make everyone feel? I mean some women and men aren't as lucky as others. And so Straight couples should ONLY be able to adopt IF they have a Medical reason and not because they don't want to "Suffer through the pain of having a child". So if straight couples can then so can gay couples. What's fair is fair. Treat life equally and we will all get along! No protesting involved! :)

If the couple passes the checks why is it relevant? There are straight couples who had a baby and are no way fit to be parents.
