Men and women can do the same jobs. But the best men or women for the job should be chosen on their skills not on their sex.

**** the data…. It shouldn’t come down to what’s between your legs… if you’re the right one for the job, you’re the right one for the job

We need skilled people in parliament. It’s not about gender it’s about skill set and ability to do a job
Your sex should not qualify you for a job or possition, rather the quality of your skills and character.
I think their should be equality in the assessment stage and opportunity to apply. I think the best candidate should be selected, not based on sex/gender/race. I understand the sentiment/rationale for counterargument, but I feel there can be more done outside of the selection process to encourage more woman to apply for or take interest in such roles.
Feminism has already won, and now it's attempting to dominate. I have not worked in any setting where there was an issue with representation. In fact, a quota is exceptionally condescending to the beneficiary and guarantees you have a lower chance of getting someone into a position of leadership that has the experience or capability required.
How would you feel if someone gave you a job, but only because of the genitalia you were born with and not because of competence or skill?

This is not equality for women. It is individuals, who are women, using this as a means of power grabbing based on gender and not merit. This is associated with dark personality traits.
Equality is just that equal. You can't fight for equality while fighting for policy that is by definition against the very idea of equality.

My last one was good, if women get treated equally in the workplace they shouldn't get it easier then men for the same job it should be equil.
If someone is selected solely based upon their gender they may lack the knowledge and experience to make the right decision for our country.

My Mech eng graduation class had just over 100 men and just 1 woman. If a local firm decides it must hire 4 grads, 2 men and 2 women due to quotas then it would be forced to hire this one woman, and another one from a previous year who had failed to get hired so far. In this case the 1 woman in my class was very talented so it would be a good outcome for the firm, but that is not always guaranteed to be the case. If you are recruiting for a large pool and a small pool for the same position, you will get a better outcome by combing the two pools and taking the best, not by taking an equal number from each pool

Men are naturally better at doing certain things and women are naturally better at doing certain things.

We can make synthetic sperm anyway, so soon there won't be any need for men, and thus no need for any quotas.
