Family income has nothing to do with tuition fees families dont always support your study therefore regardless it should be free.

If we want more professionals in the Aotearoa workforce then we have to give them the opportunity to succeed. Wipe the costs

Family income is irrelevant. Assume the young adult doesn't have financial aid from parents and is having to finance this responsibility themselves. Make it an equal playing field by removing all tuition costs for all people. Some people will be from low income families who won't be paying their children's fees and some people may be from higher income families who want their child to stand on their own feet and learn how to support themselves.

It should be lower in general, not for a certain class of people. Also, if lower income families are struggling, student allowance restrictions should be revisited
