Even in the case of rape, I believe there are multiple options that should be considered before one decides to kill their offspring. And to those that argue that these systems faulty (granted), we should be advocating to improve these systems instead of resorting to killing our youngest Kiwi's. Furthermore, science is in favour of the pro-life position as it supports the notion that life begins at conception and a fetus is a unique human being from that point onward. To argue that it's underdeveloped and indistinguishable from other animal fetuses doesn't change the nature of the unborn child and its value as a human being. Every human no matter what stage of their development they're in should have the same right to life as every other human. Just because it's out of sight and out of mind, doesn't make it ok.
