Vaping refers to using electronic cigarettes that deliver nicotine through vapor, while junk food includes high-calorie, low-nutrition foods like candy, chips, and sugary drinks. Both are linked to various health issues, especially among young people. Proponents argue that banning promotion helps protect the health of young people, reduces the risk of developing lifelong unhealthy habits, and decreases public health costs. Opponents argue that such bans infringe on commercial free speech, limit consumer choice, and that education and parental guidance are more effective ways to promote healthy lifestyles.

The government should remove vaping as it will give you popcorn lungs and as the medical nurses or doctors would have more time on patients and that will give them harder work with less payments.

Vaping should be phased out, but junk food should be left as it is now in terms of availability.

I am unsure. I wouldn't say ban, but have more education and awareness of the consequences of using junk food or vaping

No, the government should butt-out of my personal choices. Who are they to tell me what is healthy? They promote meat, cheese, dairy - all A1 carcinogens according to the WHO. We pay for the WHO, but don't follow its guidance. My health choices are my own - the NZ government is not an authority.
