It effects the small business owner. Prices keep increasing and those above minimum wage don't see any increase so are worse off. If you want a job paying more than minimum wage, get an education. Minumum wage should be a starting point, not a forever point.

Minimum wage definitely should not increase, because then the effect of inflation will increase, and basic necessities required such as power, food, petrol, electricity, etc will increase, which will only increase the amount of those in poverty.

Increasing minimum wage will do nothing for those that need it when it's going to be taxed away anyway. All it does is hurt the smaller companies while putting more into the goverments pockets

It causes the cost to rise of all product that are labour related, mostly food, transport.
It decreases the gap below low and average earners where people who are students and new to employees are getting paid almost the same wages as a person with more experience and who is more likely to be a parent and have a family to support.
It does not promote an incentive to work harder and up skill a person
Minimum wage increments always surface as a solution to inflation. Very short run it may work, but soon it will spiral back and increase the inflation match to minimum wage increment or more.
It is one of the elementary causes for an increase in inflation, which we are already suffering from and are in recession.

Because if the minimum wage goes up then everything else goes up for example petrol, food and basic needs that people need to survive and support the people/ children dependant on them.
It decreases the gap below low and average earners where people who are students and new to employees are getting paid almost the same wages as a person with more experience and who is more likely to be a parent and have a family to support.
it causes small businesses to have to increase their prices in order to pay their staff and match the increased cost of supplies needed for their businesses as other companies do the same.
