A severe hunger crisis is unfolding in Gaza, with reports of widespread malnutrition and deaths from starvation, especially among children.

Israel and the United Nations are locked in a public blame game, each accusing the other of obstructing the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid. Aid trucks and supplies are reportedly piling up at border crossings and inside Gaza, but bureaucratic hurdles, security concerns, and mutual distrust have left much of the aid undelivered. The controversial US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has also come under fire for alleged abuses and violence at aid distribution sites.

International outrage is mounting as images of starving Gazans circulate, but no effective solution has yet been found to ensure safe, large-scale aid delivery.
