We need to change our actual behaviours not just pay lip service. Rather than a land acknowledgement at the start of a sporting event how about TE Reo Māori as the first language of the facility?

There shouldn't be an acknowledgment as it should already be taught and known publically

Yes as long as there was actionable intent to restore the history of the land behind the statements and not just an empty acknowledgement.
