Should students be encouraged to participate in social activism from a young age, and why?

Unless by close family and friends it's not the place of people especialy not education facilities to encourage activism participation as it is a Higley controversial topic

No, no-one at any age should be 'encouraged' to do anything political because its none of their business. But young people/students especially because they think that because they are learning that means they know best and everyone should listen to them, which has caused the chaotic political division and extremism from both sides that we are seeing today
