The Middle East has long suffered under proxy conflicts fueled by both parties and it would be in New Zealand as well as the international community's best interest that stability or some semblence of it is restored to the region.

Not allowing for peace in an already untstanle region is asking for war. Why not support two long enemies rejoicing and reconnecting relations!
