I believe that church has the right to refuse, based on their believes. Civil union would be better

People have the freedom to have ideals. That goes with churches and religions. You can uphold those things, while acknowledging that times are changing. If a church refuse same sex marriage, that's a showcase to their faith and beliefs. There are spaces; churches who believe in the right for same sex marriage, spaces that should be championed.
