The more people in the country the cheaper things are except houses we need to build more houses and make it easier for people to come in to help solve the cost of living crisis
Majority of profits made from foreign land investment head overseas and not into our countries own economy. We are not benefitting from our own land. Priority should be on New Zealand’s economy and citizens.
A consent process allows an assessment to take place on the intentions of the purchaser. This allows NZ to make sure our interests align with such foreign ownership goals.

Its our country, other people shouldn't be able to come and buy up swathes of land for their own financial gain.
